The Eucharist - Yes!

 


This was written only a century after Christ, long before councils, denominations, or the so-called, "Reformation." The early Church universally believed the Eucharist is truly the Body and Blood of Christ. Its not a symbol & not a metaphor.

The Catholic Church today has never abandoned this truth:

“In the most blessed sacrament of the Eucharist the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ… are truly, really, and substantially contained.” (CCC 1374)

The Eucharist is Jesus.

The Assumption of Mary

     The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a commemoration celebrated by the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church and a few other Christian religions around the world. ----- <  ✠ > -----      This celebration of Mary's Assumption began with 5th century Christians (AD 400's), although evidence points to an earlier observance.
